We have now been given our clearest look at Bentley’s upcoming SUV, the Bentayga, thanks to our spy photographers.
Although one of Bentley’s test drivers is standing in front of the SUV blocking our view of the grille, these photos give us a clear look at the shape of the headlights and profile of the vehicle. Foil covers the headlights, taillights and rear windows, but the rest of the bodywork sits out in the open, appearing to be ready for production.

Overall, the shape of this new prototype is essentially the same as the others we have seen, except it appears to have a steeper rear roofline.
Bentley says it has already received 4,000 deposits for the Bentayga, which is said to have a top speed in excess of 200 mph. Power will come from a gas-powered W12 when the vehicle launches in 2016. In 2017, both a diesel and plug-in hybrid will join the lineup.
